Desserts Pilot UHT plant with VTIS direct injection module Tetra Pak

Tetra Pak desserts pilot UHT plant with an pasteurisation, indirect and/or direct (VTIS) heating module @ 225 ltr/h and only a pasteurisation step @ 125 ltr/h, previously used in a R&D centre for desserts.

Indirect unit, skid mounted, including:

• Open level tank, serial number: DFB-5259-BT01, year 2008, 50 ltr with propellor agitator (Lightnin ECL-M59-25).
• Feed pump (mono / screw pump, Netzsch, NM031BH02S12H, serial number 387231, year 2007, 120 - 300 ltr/h, speed 20 - 80 rpm, discharge pressure 2 bar, product temperature 5 - 20 °C).
• Lobe pump, Alfa Laval, SRU1/005/LD, serial number 431441, year 2008, motor: 0,37 kW, 400 V, 50 Hz, n1: 1.360 rpm, i: 15,57 n2: 89 rpm.
• Heating module A, centrifugal pump: Alfa Laval FM-0/95, serial number: 31457-17997.

• PHE 3: 125 ltr/h - 4 sections plate heat exchanger (10 - 55/80 - 71/95 - 18/42 - 5/10°C), Tetra Pak, C3-SR, 30108-34417, 0/10 bar, 0/120°C.
• PHE 4: 125 ltr/h - 2 sections custard plate heat exhanger (71/95 - 18/42 - 5/10 °C), Tetra Pak, Tetra Plex, C3-SR, 30106-09107, 0/6 bar, 0/110°C.
• Endress & Hausser flow meters.
• Spirax Sarco CSF 16 Filter.
• Interconnecting piping, valves, sensors and cabling.

Direct steam injection module (VTIS), skid mounted, including:

• Direct steam injection unit (VTIS).
• Flash tank.
• Centrifugal pump (Fristam FP742/195A, serial number 44332250, 4 kW, 3.000 rpm).
• Vacuum pump (Gardner Denver L 200 2BV7060 - 2AH00 - 4S).
• Steam valve (Samson).
• Interconnecting piping, valves, sensors and cabling.

Holding tubes, skid mounted, isolated tubes, several combinations possible.

Free standing control panel, 2 doors, stainless steel, including:

• Siemens S7-300 PLC.
• Touch screen operation panel (Siemens Design MP377 12'' Touch).
• Jumo logoscreen 601 recorder.
• Danfoss frequency converters.
• Fuses, relais and cabling.

Following working flows are possible:

• 125 ltr/h, balance tank, PC pump, 1st stage heat, (homogeniser), 2nd stage heating, holding tube, 1st stage cool, (homogeniser), 2nd stage cool, fill to "buckets".
• 225 ltr/h, balance tank, PC pump, 1st stage heat, (homogeniser), 2nd stage heating, holding tube, indirect UHT heat, UHT cool, 1st stage cool, 2nd stage cool, fill to "buckets.
• 225 ltr/h, balance tank, PC pump, 1st stage heat, (homogeniser), 2nd stage heating, holding tube, 1st stage cool, boost pump, 2nd stage cool, fill to "buckets.
• 225 ltr/h, balance tank, PC pump, 1st stage heat, UHT injection & flash cool, 1st stage cool, (homogeniser), 2nd stage cool, fill to "buckets".

Additional features:

• Homogeniser is excluded, but the unit is prepared for using an aseptic or non-aseptic homogeniser in the pilot line.
