Description
The GEA Nu-Con CV is a sanitary Convey Through rotary valve (airlock) designed for use in gravity and pneumatic conveying systems for the controlled handling of food, dairy, pharmaceutical, nutritional products and other dry ingredients. The blow-through CV configuration allows product to enter through the top inlet and discharge horizontally at 90° to the inlet into a pneumatic conveying line. The system can be operated in either vacuum or pressure conveying applications. The rotary valve is designed with a bladed cylindrical rotor and accurately controlled clearances between the rotor and valve housing. The sanitary construction provides easy access to the product-contact areas for inspection, maintenance and cleaning. Previously used for transporting of Casein in a dairy factory. No motor available.
