Description

Continuous Butter Making Machine (CBM) which has a production capacity of ± 1.000 kg of sweet, sour, or cultured butter per hour (salted or unsalted). It operates with an input of approximately 2.000 liters of cultured and/or sweet cream per hour (35–42% fat, pH ~4.8, inlet temperature 8–13 °C). The unit is fully electrically driven. All product-contact parts and the frame constructed from stainless steel. It is CIP-cleanable for hygienic operation.


The system is supplied with two separate stainless steel skids.


Process skid, including:

  • Balance tank
  • Feed pump
  • Vacuum system
  • Ice water system
  • Flow transmitter at cream inlet (ltr/h)
  • Buttermilk and CIP collecting tank
  • Buttermilk/CIP pump
  • Buttermilk plate cooler
  • Interconnecting piping and manual valves
  • Stainless steel control panel with Siemens S7 PLC, Exor touchscreen HMI, and Danfoss frequency converters for variable speed control of pump, drum, and augers


Additive skid, including:

  • Salt water tank (~160 Ltr) with agitator
