Description
Automatic foil wrapping machine designed for packing butter and similar products in aluminium foil. The machine was previously used in a butter production facility and operates with the SIG folding principle, featuring a side folding flap to minimise foil consumption.
The machine is equipped with a rotating forming drum with 4 rectangular moulding chambers, designed for a 250 gram butter format with dimensions of approximately 106 × 65 × ± 38 mm. The butter is fed into the machine via an aluminium trough fitted with augers, ensuring a continuous product supply to the wrapping section. A photocell is installed at the foil infeed to detect the exact position of the printed packaging material, ensuring accurate alignment of the print on each wrapped product.
The machine speed is adjustable by means of a frequency converter, allowing the operating speed to be adapted to the product characteristics, packaging material and surrounding operating conditions. Lubrication of the internal cams and bearings is provided by an oil-bath lubrication system. The machine is further equipped with a date coder and an outfeed conveyor of approximately 1.5 metres in length.
