This single head Alfa Laval Astepo Aseptic Pilot Filling System for bag-in-box (PTAF) system is a filling system for filling of a wide range of food and beverage products info appropriate bag-in-box bags under aseptic conditions. The PTAF filling system has been designed for use in laboratory and pilot applications as well as for taking sterile samples in aseptic industrial plants. A fail safe system continuously controls the sterile conditions. In case of an unexpected risk of sterility loss the equipment aborts production and notifies the operator. The PLC only allows for return to production mode after all the necessary parameters for sterility have been reset succesfull.

This PTAF aseptic pilot filling system is designed for 1-20 litre (1/2 - 6 gallons) sterile bags of the bag-in-box type. It is available with a 1 inch filling valve for liquid products, dense and viscous. It is also ideal for use with low-acid products (typically those of the dairy type). The sterile chamber is of the hot version (using steam). CIP cleanable. Control panel with Siemens S7-300 PLC and Schneider touch screen operation panel. Power: 230 V - 50 Hz - 2 Ph + GND - 0,75 kW.
