Description
Tetra Pak Tetra Spiraflo Tubular Heat Exchanger (THE) previously used in a dairy for whey protein as pre-heater with indirect hotwater preparation (15 - 70 °C), holding section (1 - 3 minutes) and cooling section (65 - 10 °C).
Unit exist out of:
- 7x tubes for pre-heating (Tetra Pak MT-38/1x20s-6, total surface area: 2,25 m2, product connection DN25, hotwater connection DN20 with indirect hot water system with plate heat exchangers, pumps (CH18-10 A-W-G-BQQV - 7,5 m3/h - 0,72 kW), steam valves (Samson), expansion vats, manual valves and interconnecting piping.
- 9x tubes for cooling (Tetra Pak MT-70/4x16s-6s-1, jacket: 20 bar - 110°C - 16 liter, inside: 50 bar - 110 °C - 3,6 liter, total surface area: 10,17 m2, product connection DN38, (ice)water connection DN50).
- Flowmeter (Endress+Hauser - Promag 300).
- Holding tube, DN 40 (6x 6 meter), complete with bracket and swivel bends, hold-to-heat time 1 to 3 min, manually adjustable to hold-to-heat times of 60 / 120 / 180 sec.
- Skid mounted.
