Description

Serviced Continuous Butter Making Machine (CBM) equipped with a new Rittal control panel with simple and user-friendly controls. Stainless Steel frame execution. The machine is designed for the continuous production of sweet butter from cultured and / or sweet cream and is suitable for hygienic dairy processing applications. The CBM has a butter production capacity of approximately 750 kg per hour and is designed for an input of approximately 1,500 litres of cultered or / and sweet cream per hour (35/42% fat, pH of ± 4,8 and infeed temperature ± 8 - 13 °C). Completely electrically driven; Churning cylinder / Beater I: 11 kW, Churning cylinder II: 1,5 kW and Squeezer / Working section: 3,7 kW.

The machine is equipped with a new Rittal electrical control panel, incorporating simple and clearly arranged controls for the main machine functions. The control panel includes:

  • 3 x Danfoss frequency converters for variable-speed control of Churning motor, Working section and Separation section.
  • Temperature indicators for Cream inlet temperature, Butter temperature and Wash water temperature.
  • Pressure transmitter.
  • 3 x Danfoss motor controllers with controls for: Churning section, Working section and Separation Motor (rpm up/down and on/off).
  • Motor group for any buttermilk pump (2,2 kW) and 1 spare motor group (2,2 kW). Pumps itself excluded.
  • Emergency stop.
  • Main electrical switch.

The combination of the serviced mechanical equipment and new Rittal control panel with Danfoss variable-speed drives provides straightforward operation and independent speed control of the main processing sections. The machine is a suitable solution for continuous butter production with a capacity of approximately 750 kg/h, and can be integrated into existing dairy processing installations.
