Description
The NETZSCH NM031BY02S12B NEMO® pump is a progressing cavity pump (also known as a mono or screw pump), engineered for the continuous and gentle transfer of challenging media. This pump operates on the well-proven progressing cavity principle, consisting of two primary components: a precision-machined helical rotor and a resilient elastomer stator. The rotor features a single-helix design with a large pitch, deep thread profile, and small core diameter. As the rotor rotates eccentrically within the stator, sealed cavities are formed that convey the product continuously and pulsation-free from inlet to outlet. This pump is previously used in a dairy factory. Motor: 0,75 kW - 230/400 V - 50 Hz - 1.375 rpm - 3,64/2,10 A. Connections on the inlet/outlet: DN 50. Current capacity: 70 - 400 ltr/h. Pressure: up to 8 bar. Rotor speed: 30 - 150 rpm.
Key Advantages:
- Valve-free design with stable, proportional flow rate relative to rotor speed.
- Excellent self-priming and suction capability.
- Suitable for inhomogeneous, viscous, abrasive, gaseous, and solids-laden media.
- Gentle product handling, ideal for shear-sensitive materials.
- Capable of dosing applications.
- Designed for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP).
Limitation:
- The pump must not be operated dry. Even short periods of dry running may result in stator damage.
