Mercer A.P.S. - Fluidbed Dryer

A Mercer APS Fluidbed Dryer is an industrial fluidized-bed drying system used to gently and efficiently remove moisture from particulate products such as powders, granules, flakes, or pellets. It operates by suspending the product in a controlled stream of heated air, creating a fluid-like behavior that maximizes heat and mass transfer. “APS” typically refers to Advanced Processing System, highlighting enhanced control over airflow, temperature, residence time, and hygiene—features important in food, dairy, chemical, and pharmaceutical applications.
