Rotary positive displacement pump / Lobe pump - Ibex MOG 3040

The Alfa Laval - Ibex MOG 3040 is a self-priming positive displacement rotary lobe pump with sanitary design which can handle low and high viscosity products like dairy products (e.g., yoghurt, quark, curd and butter), foodprocessing, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries. This pump is perfect for managing all kinds of fluid, of either low or high viscosity, as well as for filtering and bottling applications. Products containing fragile solids such as curd can be pumped without damage thanks to the specially designed lobes. Tri-lobe stainless steel lobes / rotors. Nominal displacement: ± 2,5 liter per revolution. Maximum nominal capacity: ± 90 m3/h. Inlet and outlet connection: 101,6 mm SMS male. Maximum product pressure: 5 bar. Maximum pump speed: 700 rpm. The pump is used in a dairy for product pumping. The current motor with this pump is 7,5 kW - 1.450 rpm - 400 V - 50 Hz - 14,3 A. The lobe speed is converted with 2x pulleys (motor pulley: 140 mm, pump pulley: 290 mm, i: 2.07) and a belt which results in a lobe speed of 700 rpm and a capacity of ± 90 m3/h.
